Trade in goods in 2012

In 2012, goods were exported from Iceland for 633,029 million ISK fob and imported for 555,695 million ISK fob, 597,262 million ISK cif. Thus there was a trade surplus (fob) for the trade in goods of 77,334 million ISK, compared with 97,142 million ISK surplus in 2011. Exports of goods increased by 2.1% at current prices while imports of goods increased by 6.3%. Manufacturing products were 52.3% of the total exports, decreasing in value by 1.3%, at current prices. Marine products were 42.4% of all exports, increasing in value by 6.8% from the year before, at current prices. |
