Trade in goods in 2011 In 2011, goods were exported from Iceland for 620,100 million ISK fob and imported into Iceland for 523,000 million ISK fob, 561,600 million ISK cif. Thus there was a trade surplus (fob) for the trade in goods of 97,100 million ISK, compared with 120,200 million ISK surplus in 2010. Exports of goods increased by 10.5% at current prices while imports of goods increased by 17.7%. Manufacturing products were 54.1% of the total exports, increasing in value by 7.9%, at current prices.

5,100 million ISK surplus of external trade in goods in April 2013 according to preliminary figures

According to preliminary figures for April 2013 the value of exported goods amounted to ISK 51,800 million fob and the value of imported goods amounted to ISK 46,700 million fob. Thus, there was a trade surplus of ISK 5,100 million in April 2013, according to the preliminary figures, calculated on fob value.More
