New registrations and insolvencies of limited liability companies in April 2012

In April 2012, 126 new private limited companies were registered compared with 145 in April 2011. The largest number of new registrations was in Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles. In the first 4 months of 2012, 586 new private limited companies were registered.

In April 2012, there were 54 corporate insolvencies compared with 87 in April 2011. The largest number of insolvencies was in Construction. In the first 4 months of 2012, there were 407 corporate insolvencies, which is about 23% decrease compared with the same period in 2011.
