The second quarter of 2012 showed a 15,864 million ISK surplus in external trade in services

Export of services for the second quarter of 2012, according to preliminary figures, was 101,712 million ISK and the import of services 85,848 million ISK. Therefore, the services trade deficit in the second quarter of 2012 was 15,864 million ISK.

Transport was the largest category within export of services and the surplus of transport was 17,036 million ISK. Other services than transport and travel was the largest category within imports of services and the deficit of other services was 8,010 million ISK. The surplus of travel services was 6,837 million ISK.
