The fishing fleet at the end of 2010
| At the end of the year 2010 the total number of fishing vessels, registered at the Icelandic Maritime Administration, was 1,625. The number increased by 43 vessels from the previous year. The number of decked vessels was 761 and their combined size was 83,457 gross tonnages (GT). The number of decked vessels had decreased by 7 items and their total size by 3,312 GT. The number of trawlers was 57 at the end of 2010 and their total size amounted to 65,087 GT. |
