Building cost index on a new base
| A rebased building cost index was published on the 21st of January 2010. A new residential building sets the base. Minor changes to the composition of the building cost index coincide with the rebase in accordance with the Eurostat manual on building cost indices. Measurements of labour cost are now based on Statistics Iceland’s survey on wages, earnings and labour costs instead of official pay scales from union contracts. |
