Tourist accommocation 2009
| The total number of overnight stays was 2.9 million in the year 2009, which is a 6.6% increase from the year 2008. From 2008 to 2009 the number of overnight stays increased in all types of accommodation establishments except hotels and guesthouses. The number increased by 28.7% on camping sites, 22.7% in private home accommodation, 17.8% in youth hostels by and 17.6% in holiday centres. The number of overnight stays increased also in lodges in wilderness, 14.9%, and by in sleeping-bag facilities, 13.4%. |
