Labour market statistics, 4th quarter 2010
| The number of persons in the labour force in the fourth quarter of 2010 was 178,800 which corresponds to an activity rate of 79.9%. The number of employed persons was 165,600 and unemployed persons were 13,200. The employment rate was 74% and the unemployment rate was 7.4%. The number of unemployed persons increased by 1,200 from the fourth quarter of 2009 and the number of employed persons decreased by 900. The unemployment rate in the capital region is 8.2% and 5.9% in other regions. |
