Labour market statistics, 3rd quarter 2011
| The number of persons in the labour force in the 3rd quarter of 2011 was 182,500 which correspond to an activity rate of 81%. The number of employed persons was 171,800 and unemployed persons were 10,700. The employment rate was 76.3% and the unemployment rate was 5.9%. The number of unemployed persons decreased by 1,000 from the 3rd quarter of 2010 and the number of employed persons increased by 1,600. The unemployment rate in the capital region is 7% and 3.7% in other regions. |
