Tourist Accommodation 2007
| The total number of overnight stays was 2.6 million in the year 2007, which is a 7.6% increase from the year 2006. From 2006 to 2007 the number of overnight stays increased in some types of accommodation establishments and decreased in others. The number increased by 10.9% with hotels and guesthouses as well as in holiday centres, 10.6% in youth hostels and 1% in camping sites. At the same time the number of overnight stays decreased by 16.4% in sleeping-bag facilities, 6.8% in private home accommodation, 6.4% in holiday centres and 3.2% in lodges in wilderness. |
