Total value of sold production amounted to 357 billion ISK in 2006 and increased by 61 billion ISK from previous year, 3.3% in real terms. The value of sold production increased in 13 out of 17 industries during this period. Apart from the smallest industries a considerable growth was in manufacture of basic metals, 61.2%, in manufacture of non-metallic mineral products, 35.1%, and in publishing, printing and reproduction of recorded media, 26%.
