Labour market statistics, 2nd quarter 2011
| The number of persons in the labour force in the 2nd quarter of 2011 was 185,800 which corresponds to an activity rate of 83%. The number of employed persons was 170,000 and unemployed persons were 15,800. The employment rate was 75.9% and the unemployment rate was 8.5%. The number of unemployed persons decreased by 400 from the 2nd quarter of 2010 and the number of employed persons increased by 500. The unemployment rate in the capital region is 10.2% and 5.3% in other regions. |
