ICT and eCommerce in enterprises 2008
| In January 2008 the vast majority of Icelandic enterprises uses local area network (LAN) or 80%, 56% use wireless LAN and 18% use open source operating system. Website is accessible among 77% of enterprises and almost half of Icelandic enterprises have information on goods and services accessible on their website. Almost 30% use automated data exchange, preferably in connection with public authorities. In the year 2007 almost 40% of Icelandic enterprises purchased or placed orders for goods or services via computer networks and 24% sold or received orders from customers. |
