In real terms the GDP in the 1st quarter of 2007 remained almost unchanged from the same quarter of the previous year. Total domestic expenditure decreased by almost 10% in real terms in the 1st quarter of 2007 compared with the same quarter of 2006. During the period there was a decrease in household final consumption by just over 1% and fixed capital formation by 28%.
