Publication detail

Every autumn Statistics Iceland collects data on enrolled students from schools at the upper secondary and tertiary level. These data include the number of students, sex, line of study, progress of study and mode of teaching. The number of students has been increasing every year and in autumn 2006 there are 44,129 students enrolled, more than ever before. The number of registered students has increased by 4.6% since 2005.
