Trade in goods in 2012 In 2012, goods were exported from Iceland for 633,029 million ISK fob and imported for 555,695 million ISK fob, 597,262 million ISK cif. Thus there was a trade surplus (fob) for the trade in goods of 77,334 million ISK, compared with 97,142 million ISK surplus in 2011. Exports of goods increased by 2.1% at current prices while imports of goods increased by 6.3%. Manufacturing products were 52.3% of the total exports, decreasing in value by 1.3%, at current prices. Marine products were 42.4% of all exports, increasing in value by 6.8% from the year before, at current prices.

138,815 million ISK surplus of trade in services in 2014, according to preliminary figures

Export of services for the fourth quarter of 2014, according to preliminary figures, was 110,899 million ISK and the import of services 99,118 million ISK. Therefore, the services trade surplus in the fourth quarter of 2014 was 11,780 million ISK but the surplus in the fourth quarter of 2013 was 18,877 million ISK at current exchange rates.More
