Value of sold production 2008
The total value of sold production amounted to 545 billion ISK in 2008, an increase of 160 billion ISK from the previous year, 10.6% in real terms. The value of sold production excluding fish production and manufacturing of basic metals accounted for 187 billion ISK compared with 174 billion ISK in 2007.

The producer price index (PPI) in January 2010 was 200.4 points (4. quarter 2005 = 100), 3.9% higher than in the previous month. Compared to January 2009 the PPI has increased by 18.1%.More
