In February 2023, there were 575,300 overnight stays in Iceland which exceeded February in all previous years. This is an 45% increase between years (396,400) and an 9.4% increase from 2018 (525,700).
The value of exported goods amounted to 74.9 billion ISK fob in February 2023 (73.8 according to preliminary figures) and the value of imported goods was 99.7 billion ISK cif (99.7 billion). The goods trade deficit in February was therefore 24.8 billion ISK (25.9). Figures have been updated.

Over 80% of teaching personnel in upper secondary schools were licensed teachers in the autumn of 2020. The proportion of licensed teachers has decreased in recent years, but it was 86.1% in the autumn of 2011.
