Financial accounts of enterprises 2006-2007
Operating profit, EBIT, of 23,038 enterprises in all activities in 2007 was 16.0% of revenue compared with 19.4% the year before. These are among the main results from an annual compilation of financial accounts of enterprises undertaken by Statistics Iceland.

New registrations and insolvencies of companies in July 2010
In July 2010, 108 new private limited companies were registered, which is about 50% decrease from July 2009 when 208 new private limited companies were registered. In July 2010, there were 39 corporate insolvencies compared with 35 in July 2009. More
