Trade in goods in 2012 In 2012, goods were exported from Iceland for 633,029 million ISK fob and imported for 555,695 million ISK fob, 597,262 million ISK cif. Thus there was a trade surplus (fob) for the trade in goods of 77,334 million ISK, compared with 97,142 million ISK surplus in 2011. Exports of goods increased by 2.1% at current prices while imports of goods increased by 6.3%. Manufacturing products were 52.3% of the total exports, decreasing in value by 1.3%, at current prices. Marine products were 42.4% of all exports, increasing in value by 6.8% from the year before, at current prices.

In the final data for 2014, the balance of trade in goods was favourable by 4,200 million ISK

In 2014 the goods exported from Iceland amounted to 590,500 million ISK and goods imported into Iceland for 586,300 million ISK fob, 626,900 million ISK cif. Thus there was a trade surplus of trade in goods, calculated on fob value, of 4,200 million ISK, whereas the trade surplus in 2013 was 40,200 million ISK.More
