Trade in goods in 2012 In 2012, goods were exported from Iceland for 633,029 million ISK fob and imported for 555,695 million ISK fob, 597,262 million ISK cif. Thus there was a trade surplus (fob) for the trade in goods of 77,334 million ISK, compared with 97,142 million ISK surplus in 2011. Exports of goods increased by 2.1% at current prices while imports of goods increased by 6.3%. Manufacturing products were 52.3% of the total exports, decreasing in value by 1.3%, at current prices. Marine products were 42.4% of all exports, increasing in value by 6.8% from the year before, at current prices.

7,700 million ISK deficit of external trade in goods in June

According to preliminary figures for June 2014 the value of exported goods amounted to ISK 40,700 million fob and the value of imported goods amounted to ISK 48,400 million fob. Thus, there was a deficit of ISK 7,700 million in June 2014, according to the preliminary figures, calculated on fob value.More
