The Consumer Price Index (CPI) based on prices in March 2020 is 475.2 points (May 1988=100), 0.23% higher than in the previous month.
The number of unemployed in February was around 10,300 according to seasonally adjusted figures from Statistics Iceland's Labour force survey, or 5.0% of the labour force.
Net external migration in Iceland in 2019 was 4,961 compared with 6,556 in 2018. The number of immigrants was 12,006 in 2019 compared with 14,275 the year before.
