The open source, web-based learning system created by the University of Iceland has released a new version (https://beta.tutor-web.net) allowing real data sets to be used in exercises and tutorials. The standard version (http://tutor-web.net) is still actively used by students of high school and university for learning statistics while the new one can be already experimented with.

The recent work on connecting official statistics data with the the tutor-web has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union's Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme, Grant Agreement number 825696 — 2018-IS-Literacy.
