The building cost index in September 2022 increases by 0.6% from the previous month. The price of domestic materials increased by 1.3%, imported materials increased by 0.5%, Labour costs increased by 0.3%. Figures have been updated.
Web tables with weather data from weather stations have been updated. These tables consists of data from 10 weather stations around Iceland. Temperature, wind and precipitation are measured at all stations, barometric pressure is measured at 9 of them and humidity at 8 stations.
The monthly wage index in August 2022 increased by 0.2% from previous month. In the last twelve months the wage index has risen by 8.0%. Figures have been updated.
The unemployment rate in August 2022 was 4.5% according to seasonally adjusted figures from the Icelandic Labour Force Survey. The seasonally adjusted activity rate was 79.5% and the employment rate 76.0%. Seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased by 0.4 percentage points between months and the employment rate by 0.3 percentage points.
