The Icelandic catch amounted to 136.3 thousand tonnes in April 2025, which is 12% less than in April 2024. Demersal catch decreased by 1% between years and was 42.3 thousand tonnes.
During the twelve-month period from May 2024 to April 2025, the total catch was 974 thousand tonnes compared with 1,102 thousand tonnes one year earlier which is a 12% decrease.
