The fish catch in October 2023 was 123 thousand tonnes which is 5% less than in October 2022. Pelagic catch was 81 thousand tonnes and demersal species around 40 thousand tonnes.
The catch in the 12 month period from November 2022 to October 2023 was 1363 thousand tonnes which is a 10% decrease from the previous 12 month period.
