International airfares increased by 9.6% (effect on index 0.12%). Cost of owner occupied housing (imputed rent), decreased by 0.5% (-0.08%).

The average CPI in the year 2019 was 468.6 points, 3.0% higher than the average in 2018. This increase corresponds to a 2.7% rise in 2018 and 1.8% in 2017.

The average CPI less housing cost was 400.1 points in 2019, 2.6% higher than in 2018. This change can be compared to 0.9% in the year 2018 and -2.2% in 2017.

The CPI is 2.0% higher in December 2019 than in December 2018 while the CPI less housing cost is 1.7% higher than one year ago.

The CPI compiled in the middle of December 2019, 473.3 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in February 2020. The old credit terms index for February 2020 is 9,345 points.
