The Consumer Price Index (CPI) based on prices in February 2023, is 577.3 points (May 1988=100), 1.39% higher than in the previous month. The CPI less housing cost is 479.4 points, 1.81% higher than in January 2023.
Prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 1.9% (effect on index 0.30%), prices of clothing and footwear increased by 6.8% (0.21%) and furnishing, household equipment etc. increased by 8.7% (0.53%).
The CPI is 10.2% higher in February 2023 than in February 2022 and the CPI less housing cost is 8.9% higher than one year ago.
The CPI compiled in the middle of February 2023, 577.3 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in April 2023. The old credit terms index for April 2023 is 11,399 points.
