NEWS RELEASE PRICES 29 JUNE 2022

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) based on prices in June 2022, is 547.1 points (May 1988=100), 1.41% higher than in the previous month. The CPI less housing cost is 455.1 points, 1.09% higher than in May 2022.

Prices of food and drinks increased by 0.8% (effect on index 0.11%), cost of owner occupied housing (imputed rent) increased by 2.9% (0.56) and prices of petrol and diesel oil increased by 10.4% (0.39%).

The CPI is 8.8% higher in June 2022 than in June 2021 and the CPI less housing cost is 6.5% higher than one year ago.

The CPI compiled in the middle of June 2022, 547.1 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in August 2022. The old credit terms index for August 2022 is 10,802 points.
