NEWS RELEASE PRICES 29 NOVEMBER 2022

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) based on prices in November 2022, is 560.9 points (May 1988=100), 0.29% higher than in the previous month. The CPI less housing cost is 463.3 points, 0.06% higher than in October 2022.

Prices of food increased by 0.8% (effect on index 0.11%) and cost of owner occupied housing (imputed rent) increased by 1.0% (0.20%).Prices of international airfares decreased by 8.9% (-0.17%).

The CPI is 9.3% higher in November 2022 than in November 2021 and the CPI less housing cost is 7.1% higher than one year ago.

The CPI compiled in the middle of November 2022, 560.9 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in January 2023. The old credit terms index for January 2023 is 11,075 points.
