The Consumer Price Index (CPI) based on prices in November 2023, is 605.8 points (May 1988=100), 0.38% higher than in the previous month. The CPI less housing cost is 496.6 points, 0.04% lower than in October 2023.
Cost of owner occupied housing (imputed rent) increased by 2.1% (effect on the index 0.40%). Prices of international flights decreased by 12.8% from the previous month (-0.23%).
The CPI is 8.0% higher in November 2023 than in November 2022 and the CPI less housing cost is 7.2% higher than one year ago.
The CPI compiled in the middle of November 2023, 605.8 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in January 2024.
