The CPI compiled in the middle of October 2023, 603.5 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in December 2023.

Base weights in the consumer price index are updated once a year. Work is underway to move the update so that from 2024, it will take place in January every year instead of April. The rebasing of the index does not in itself have any effect on the CPI results.

Another scheduled change is that instead of price updating "044 Other services relating to the dwelling" in January, it will be in February when the first payment, according to new tariffs, usually takes place. This category includes refuse collection, sewerage services and water supply.
