The Consumer Price Index (CPI) based on prices in September 2023, is 599.9 points (May 1988=100), 0.35% higher than in the previous month. The CPI less housing cost is 495.4 points, 0.18% higher than in August 2023.
Prices of clothing and footwear increased by 3.7% (effect on index 0.14%). Cost of owner occupied housing (imputed rent) increased by 0.9% (0.16%). Prices of international flights decreased by 10.6% (-0.22%).
The CPI is 8.0% higher in September 2023 than in September 2022 and the CPI less housing cost is 7.7% higher than one year ago.
The CPI compiled in the middle of September 2023, 599.9 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in November 2023.
