The producer price index (PPI) increased by 0.3% between November and December 2017. Prices of marine products increased by 1.9% (effect on the index 0.5%) while prices of power intensive industry products decreased by 0.7% (-0.2%).
The PPI has increased by 2.4% from December 2016 to December 2017. Thereof prices of marine products have increased by 3.8% while other industry decreased by 8.9%. Prices of power intensive industry products have increased by 11.5% but prices of food decreased by 0.7% in the same period. Exported products increased by 6.1% in one year, while products sold domestically decreased by 4.3%.
