The producer price index (PPI) decreased by 1.7% between February and March 2018. Prices of power intensive industry products decreased by 3.4% (effect on the index -1.1%), prices of marine products decreased by 1.2% (-0.3%), other industry prices decreased by 1.4% (-0.3%) while food prices increased by less than 0.1% (0.0%).
The PPI has increased by 3.7% from March 2017 to March 2018. Thereof prices of power intensive industry products have increased by 8.0%, marine products have increased by 6.6%, prices of food increased by 0.9% while other industry have decreased by 4.7% in the same period.
Exported products increased by 6.4% in one year, while products sold domestically decreased by 1.5%.
