The producer price index (PPI) decreased by 0.9% between October and November 2016. Prices of marine products decreased by 2.6% and had the most downward effect on the index. However, prices for power intensive industry products increased by 2.3%.
Compared with November 2015, the PPI has decreased by 7.0%. Thereof prices of marine products have decreased by 10.4% and power intensive industry products by 8.1%. When taken into consideration if the products are exported or sold domestically, exported products have decreased in price by 8.9% over one year but products sold domestically by 2.4%.
