The producer price index (PPI) increased by 0.4% between October and November 2017. Prices of marine products decreased by 0.8% (effect on the index -0.2%) while prices of power intensive industry products increased by 0.3% (0.1%). Prices of food increased by 0.7% (0.1%) and prices for other industry increased by 1.6% (0.4%).
The PPI has increased by 1.8% from November 2016. Thereof prices of marine products have increased by 1.4% while other industry decreased by 13.6%. Prices of power intensive industry products have increased by 16.4% but prices of food decreased by 1.9% in the same period. Exported products increased by 6.0% in one year, while products sold domestically decreased by 6.1%.
