The producer price index (PPI) increased by 0.4% between September and October 2017. Prices of marine products decreased by 1.3% (effect on the index -0.3%) while prices of power intensive industry products increased by 2.5% (0.7%).
The PPI has increased by 0.5% from October 2016. Thereof prices of marine products have decreased by 0.4% and other industry decreased by 17.9%. Prices of power intensive industry products have increased by 18.7% but prices of food decreased by 2.9% in the same period. Exported products increased by 5.5% in one year, while products sold domestically decreased by 8.4%.
