GDP grew by 1.9% in 2019 according to updated national accounts figures. The outlook for 2020 has been revised upwards and GDP is now expected to contract by 7.6%. However, the turnaround in 2021 is expected to be slower than previously presumed, with GDP growing by 3.9%. Economic growth is expected to be 3.1% in 2022 and in the range of 2.4-2.6% in 2023-2026.
