The number of persons in the labour force in the third quarter of 2010 was 181,900 which correspond to an activity rate of 81.4%. The number of employed persons was 170,200 and unemployed persons were 11,700. The unemployment rate was 6.4%. The number of unemployed persons increased by 800 from the third quarter of 2009 and the number of employed persons decreased by 1.300.
