The CPI in July 2011 rose by 0.11% from the preceding month (fell by 0.22% less housing cost). Over the last 12 months the CPI rose by 5.0% (CPI less housing cost rose by 4.7%) while the change over the last 3 months is equivalent to an annual inflation of 6.3% (4.2% inflation less housing cost). In Iceland, the HICP rose by 0.31% in June from the preceding month but fell by 0.1% in the EEA. Over the 12 months to June the HICP in Iceland rose by 4.8% and by 3.1% in the EEA.
