In real terms the GDP in the 3rd quarter of 2009 decreased by 7.2% from the same quarter of the previous year. Total domestic expenditure decreased by 22.4% during the period. Household final consumption decreased by 13.0% in the 3rd quarter. This decrease is partly due to a 62.4% decrease in purchases of vehicles.
