Average household expenditure is 476 thousand ISK a month, 7.3% higher than in the previous survey per household. The CPI rose by 5.2% between 2011 and 2012, hence the real household expenditure increased by 2.0%. Disposable income rose by 3.8% per household. Monthly average disposable income is approximately 533 thousand ISK per household. Houshold expenditure is on average 89% of the households’ disposable income.
