The Consumer Price Index (CPI) based on prices in April 2024, is 623.7 points (May 1988=100), 0.55% higher than in the previous month. The CPI less housing cost is 505.9 points, 0.30% higher than in March 2024.
Cost of owner occupied housing (imputed rent) increased by 1.7% (effect on index 0.32%) and prices of international airfares increased by 11,3% (0,20%).
The CPI is 6.0% higher in April 2024 than in April 2023 and the CPI less housing cost is 3.9% higher than one year ago.
The CPI compiled in the middle of April 2024, 623.7 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in June 2024.
